World Youth Day 2027

From 3 to 8 August 2027, World Youth Day will take place in Seoul, South Korea — an international gathering of young people from around the world with Pope Leo XIV. The Melbourne Eparchy is planning to organise a group of young people from our parishes to participate in WYD 2027.
At this stage, the Eparchy is gathering preliminary expressions of interest from young people who are seriously considering participating in WYD 2027. Once we have a clearer idea of the number of potential participants, further information about the next steps and organisation of the pilgrimage will be provided.
- Indicative travel dates: 29 July — 11 August 2027
- Age of participants: 14–30 years
- Indicative cost: $6,500—$7,000 per person
Young people who are interested in participating in World Youth Day 2027 are asked to contact the administrator of their local Ukrainian Catholic parish by the end of October.
